“Villa PapaSpiros is on the edge of a delightful, heritage village in the Corfu central hills, quiet and traditional but only ten minutes from beaches and twenty minutes from the airport and the town. The house has been designed with two terraces overlooking a valley with views of distant villages, and a small pool in which one can sit and cool off after a day by the beach or when guests would just like a day without driving. Entering the Villa you will find a big fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a spacious living room with access to the first terrace with an outdoor dining area and the swimming pool. Going down the lower floor you will find 3 bedrooms with a double bed each one with its own ensuite full bathroom. The master bedroom also provides its own small living room with access to the terrace.
Kouramades has a village shop which sells everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to washing powder and light bulbs and most things in between as well as a bakery for freshly baked bread. In the centre of the village is a cooperatively run cafe which serves drinks and delicious, traditional Greek meals five or six evenings every week at an astonishingly reasonable price. Often on Friday and Saturday evening in the summer there are concerts of Greek folk music.
